About Robac Polymer Chemicals

The Robac Polymer Chemical range is a specialised part of Robinson Brothers extensive chemistry portfolio concentrating on rubber vulcanisation chemicals and polymer additives.

We are renowned for our traditional rubber chemicals and effect intermediates. Speciality products for rubber vulcanisation, including soluble EV systems, natural and synthetic latex, low temperature curing and ultra accelerators. (Products include, DPTT, Thioureas, TBUT, ZDBCX, ZPD).

Robac provides solutions for environmental issues such as low, safe and no nitrosamine cures,  (AS100, Arbestab Z, SAA30) reduction in heavy metal content in process effluent and final products, reduced temperature of cure (Robac P25, DPTT, ZDBCX, SAA30, ZIX) and reduction of the amount of accelerators used whilst maintaining dynamic and physical properties. (SAA30, Robosol and Robactivator). Improved dynamic AND thermal properities of the vulcanisate is possible, while reducing your production costs and having safer , simpler cure systems.

Our speciality organosulphur compounds for use in the manufacture of plastics and polymer items include innovative low odour thiols (ODM, HDM) and xanthates. (DIXD, ZIX, SIX) These are commercially available as multi-functional polymerisation chain transfer and chain stopper agents, UV and heat stabilisation, antioxidants (arbestab Z and N) and biodegradable polymer modifiers compliment our range.

Speciality cure packages have been developed to help manufacturers of natural and synthetic latex medical and consumer goods meet  rigorous requirements, remove nitrosamines and reduce the potential of allergic response and other potential concerns for these high performance products. (AS100, Arbestab Z and SAA30).
