Our range of speciality rubber and polymer chemicals includes Dithiocarbamates, typically used as secondary accelerators in the vulcanisation of natural and synthetic rubbers. The range includes:

• Bismuth dimethyl, Copper dimethyl, Zinc pentamethylene and Zinc di-isononyl dithiocarbamates.
• The aqueous solutions of the sodium salt dithiocarbamates and the amine activated Zinc dibutyl dithiocarbamate. 
• Antioxidant Dithiocarbamates, UV and thermal protective agents for polymers.
• e.g. Arbestab N is an effective UV and thermal antidegradant used in CR, ECO, NBR, EPDM and other olefinic polymers.

Robac is one of the world's leading producers of thiurams, in particular Dipentamethylene thiuram tetra / hexa sulphide (polysulphide)  (sometimes known as DPTT) which is a powerful primary and secondary accelerator capable of being a sulphur donor. Tetra butyl thiuram disulphide (TBUT) is a vital constituent of soluble E.V. systems and is also used in the plastics industry.

A range of thioureas for use in the production of adhesives, footwear and general-purpose moulding and extrusion lines. Di ethyl thiourea, DETU the most active thiourea for vulcanisation of CR polymer.

Diethyl, dibutyl and liquid alkyl (isotectic mix of Butyl & Ethyl) thioureas are also used as steel anti corrosion reagents.

Xanthates and Xanthogens are finding uses in latex and unsaturated polymers and are excellent for low temperature cure systems whilst maintaining dynamic properties.

• Zinc Isopropyl xanthate, ZIX synergises well with  Di-isopropyl xanthogen polysulphide, AS100 and other dithiocarbamates for use in adhesives and rubberised coatings. Whilst AS100 can used as a sulphur donor for nitrosamine free cure systems.

Speciality thiols , xanthates and mercaptans are produced for use in the plastics, resins, bonding and methyacrylate industries.
