VACANCY – Mechanical Fitter (permanent), Mechanical Fitter (temporary)
Having filled the positions of Technical Support Fitters internally, we are now recruiting for their replacements working on days. We have available one permanent vacancy for the position of Mechanical Fitter and one short term contract until the end of October 2010.
The hours of work are 08:00 – 16:06 and this includes a 30 minute unpaid break. Holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum pro-rata.
Potential candidates must have succesfully completed a time served mechanical engineering apprenticeship and possess City & Guilds Parts I,II & III in mechanical engineering. Candidates must have experience of equipment maintenance (pumps, gear boxes etc) and have worked with a variety of pipework, valves and fittings. Some working at height and confined entry work is required from time to time.
Salary is £20,280 per annum..
